Dear friends and colleagues!

The administration of Dilijan International Music Festival (DIMF) is proud to present the rules and conditions for candidates and groups to participate on Festival.


1.The DIMF is open for musicians and musical groups of all nationalities.
2.DIMF will take place from 23rd May until 1st June 2005
3.Each group will have at least 3 concerts in Big music hall and/or open sky concert
4.The Gala Concert with participation of ALL groups will take place in 1st June 2005 in the Concert hall of Armenian National Opera Theatre, in Yerevan.
5.For 2 best groups DIMF is providing special prizes and diplomas.
6.The following groups can be accepted:
• Symphonic Orchestra
• Chamber Orchestra
• Brass brand
• String ensemble (duo, trio, quartet)
• Woodwind quartet (duo, trio, quartet)
• Male, Female or Mix Chorus
• Folk groups


How to apply

To apply for participation the interested group is required to send to DIMF an application form, Curriculum Vitae, Video (PAL)/CD/VCD recording not later than 1st December 2004. Any further information will be gratefully accepted.

Program
Each group is required to perform at least one music composition by Armenian composer. In case of needs Festival will provide the scores.

Transportation
Each group is responsible for theirs travel to and from Armenia. For only one group, which will be selected by received materials Festival will provide all travel and visa expenses. For getting Armenian entry Visa you can obtain it in any Armenian Embassy or easily trough the Internet visiting http://www.armeniaforeignministry.com and follow the instructions from the left corner.
Each group is responsible for theirs travel to and from Armenia. For only one group (will be selected by received materials) Festival will provide all travel and visa expenses. The official invitation will be sent to all groups as soon as they will be accepted.
The Festival will provide all kind of transportation within Armenia including picking up groups from the “Zvartnots” International Airport in Yerevan or from the Central train Station.
